The Retrograde New Moon in Scorpio: A Slippery Slope of New Beginnings

ree

Before you ask, no. Moon's don't retrograde. But the planets do! And this new moon is in aspect to ALL 4 of them. So, a retrograde new moon it is.

Sooo, the #1 thing about this new moon in scorpio is to SHUT UP. PLEASE. Silence is protection. When you release thoughts into the wild, they can't be tamed. Don't release information prematurely. There is power in what's left unsaid. Why do think NDAs, and privacy laws are such big business?? The 8th and 12th house sextiles the 10th house for a reason. Privacy and secrecy protects reputations. With mercury retrograde conjunct this scorpio new moon and OPPOSITE uranus-- news WILL change. Don't hold too tightly to an outcome. Bad news may become good news. Good news may become... not so great news. You or even someone may have to renege on a promise or agreement you made.

Think reversals. Save yourself the trouble of having to walk something back by keeping any news, updates or information to yourself until the end of this retrograde.

Now, let's talk "RE" words. Mercury is retrograde and conjunct the new moon. Recommit to a promise you made to yourself. Did you have a goal? An ideal of yourself? Did you fall off the bandwagon? Scorpio can indicate our lowest lows and when we've hit rock bottom. Maybe this is a renewal or resurgence for you.

This scorpio new moon is also in a GRAND TRINE with jupiter retrograde in cancer and saturn retrograde in pisces. This indicates that there are probably new parameters you need to work within. There might be some new boundaries or limitations you have. Be flexible with yourself and be more flexible with a goal-- this grand trine is in water. There may need to be a little more leeway. You may have to adjust the finish line or move the target.

Maybe you're older now and a task that was quicker and easier, takes more time or requires more effort. Maybe you have limited time for an endeavor. Maybe you don't have as many resources, now. All Saturnian limits. Jupiter retrograde here is a learning opportunity to understand how we can grow and expand despite these new limitations. Jupiter retrograde is like when a school district is on a budget-- think Abbot Elementary, the show. Despite the lack of resources, many educators still find a way to get creative.

Redefine or restructure what goal you have to fit within the big picture. You'll have to adjust HOW you do it, though. Remember, redefine, readjust and recommit.

Next, is to know yourself. Know what your weaknesses are. You'll need to work within those constraints. Remember the lows you had in the past and what bad habit or pattern was a slippery slope to rock bottom. This new moon is about lessons learned and heeding the warnings before starting new things. It may be the same dark road as before, but just in a different form. It's important not to rebound. That will require you realigning with yourself.

Are you ignoring your intuition? Remember when you last did that. How'd that work out for you? Your intuition can help you avoid pitfalls.

I'm reminding you to listen to that inner voice of deep intuition we ALL have. Given mercury doesn’t operate at its best when it's retograde-- your saving grace and superpower will be your intuition and checking in with how you FEEL. Especially, bodily.

We all experience intuition differently. If you feel off, sick, sad, fearful, or anxious-- that's still information! Even if the words check out, how do you feel about the situation? Scorpio is one of the deepest intuitive signs we have. You can go within to source information. Even if you can't put something into words, trust that feeling. Your body doesn't lie.

For some of you, this new moon may be about burying the hatchet with others. Starting over new with someone can be good. HOWEVER, discernment on who to forgive is key. Some people will see you starting new and wish to sully your fresh start or ride your coat tails.

This can be a very parasitic moon 🩸. Make sure you don't take any vampiric attachments with you into a new beginning. Take back and ward your energy! There will be someone from your past who maliciously sabotaged you hoping to claw their way back in. Granting someone forgiveness is fine but don't forget and pardon them back into your life.

NOW, REFRAMING. Let's talk about energy laundering! All of you know what money laundering probably is. Taking dirty money and running it through legitimate means to "clean it". The steps of money laundering include placement, layering, and integration. If youre rejected, It's important to reframe a negative situation in such a way to extract a positive. And with this retrograde energy, rejection isn't so unlikely 💀.

Let's say you are rejected in love. Take that information in and layer in some truths about the situation. This person can't give love the way you want or need. Integrate it-- I'm free to find someone who can and will. Always think, how can I transmute this energy? If all else fails, there's a spell for that 😂

Last thing is, fear. Some of you may be driven to make choices out of fear. Making decisions based off of fear may lead you where you don't want to end up. And if you're tightly holding onto an outcome, things WILL change. Uranus is opposite the new moon. Prepare for revisions and don't bet on things staying the same.

Also, it's OK to change your mind! As things change, so can you! It's okay to say no to something. Or to go another direction if you feel called. Even if you feel bad about breaking an agreement.

At any point, it's OK to evolve. Whether it's bucking negative self-talk or negative naysayers-- you can change the narrative. Anytime! Even well after this new moon.

Let me know where you have this new moon and make sure you don't slip!
